Re: Beta Test / Technical

Thomas' note halfway confirmed on WinXP; The double click opens up an AIS target info or chart info if the mouse is there. But, one of the clicks seems to be read also by the center function. So.. the double click is working but it's also centering the chart to that point.

cagney/Hakan...

I cannot reproduce the double click query error with the current github master.

Does it do the same thing if you double-click on a waypoint? Or only on AIS targets?

Thanks
Dave

Re: Beta Test / Technical

Dave...
The double click forces the center function and opens the info dialog on every objects like CM93 chart details, buoys, lights, land etc. And also on AIS targets and routes but NOT on Waypoints!! When double click on a WP the info dialog opens but the centering function does not occur. WPs are the only exception I've seen.

I'm on WinXP and my repository is just now up to date.

Re: Beta Test / Technical

Dave...again..
I've tested also on my Linux, RPi, machine and it shows close to the same behavior. Double clicks are centering for all chart objects but not for WPs, routes and AIS targets. A single click is centering routes and AIS targets but not a WP.
I've not traced this back in versions so I can't say when it was introduced.

Dave

Double clicking on a stand alone wpt or a route point shows the object query dialog, followed by centering of the chart. For general vector-chart object query the chart first centers and then the object-query dialog comes up for the point of the cursor, after centering the chart on the first click-position.
Only tested on Ubuntu 64 bits.

Correct, also with OSX but together with an assert of timer.

Gerhard/Hakan/Thomas...

Please check the double-click logic on the latest github master.

1. Check on both GL and non-GL mode, please. I think it was OK for non-GL, but broken on GL? Anyway, all OK now for me.

2. Also, please note the correction for initial keyboard focus, which was "misplaced" some time recently.

Thanks
Dave

Re: Beta Test / Technical

I am having problems also.

Now dragging the chart somehow turns into a single click and centers the chart or maybe even a double click. I will try to investigate further but it isn't always repeatable. I don't remember this behavior until very recently.

I tried enabling the transparent toolbar under opengl and it works perfectly. Can someone explain why this option has been disabled for opengl mode?

Finally I would add that zooming with the mouse wheel in non-opengl is messed up. It jumps around panning while zooming.. I didn't have a wheel until recently and didn't try non-opengl much.

On WinXP:
Double and single -click behavior is back to normal both with and without OpenGL.

Works as expected.

I can't repeat your problem with dragging the chart.

Hi
Today's pull tested on WinXP; The automatic MOB route creation is really nice.
Thanks/ Håkan

Re: Beta Test / Technical

I'm not that fond of the design of the new Aton markers.
All the white makes them indistinct.
They are not adjusted to the dusk or night color scheme.
They don't keep the current distinction between real and virtual targets.

Anyone with some brilliant design ideas?

Re: Beta Test / Technical

Why changing the design at all? What is wrong with the actual one?

Re: Beta Test / Technical

The version of the standard... The new shapes are in line with the currently valid IHO specification. FWIW, I also don't like the white though.
