Bug reporting

It appears that bugs are supposed to be reported in FlySpray? But the sticky post is some 5 years old and I cannot seem to follow the directions there. For example there is no project for 4.8.8 which is supposed to be the current release. Can someone list the steps to report a bug?

Bugs I'd like to report:

According to documentation, when building a route and a waypoint is added close to a current mark, you should get a dialog asking you if you want to snap to that point. I get no dialog, and it will snap only when I am right on top of that mark (within the triangle).

According to documentation and pop up menu, command-z will replace a just deleted waypoint. However it does not (though the pop up menu item does).

When the OpenCPN window is underneath others and therefore not the focus, and you click in an exposed part of it to bring it to the foreground and make it the focus, it accepts the click, moves the window to the foreground, and then acts on it - in particular re-centers the chart to the location of that click. It should just change the focus to that window and bring it to the foreground, and not act on that click by re-centering. This is quite annoying for example, when moving between the documentation window and the main window, every time you return to the main window the chart jumps.

Also a feature request relative to my prior post about Mac trackpad scrolling. As a workaround to the library not supporting gestures, how about an option to disable scroll wheel zooming? On a MacBook trackpad, it is accepting a two finger drag as a scroll wheel movement, and it is quite sensitive. A small mistaken touch and suddenly you are looking at the whole world. This is not a difficult mistake to make, since most other apps treat a 2 finger drag gesture as a scroll, not a zoom, and train you to expect it. If I could disable scroll wheel zoom in the app, the 2 finger drag would do nothing, I can still zoom using the other facilities, and my chart stays at the same zoom if I mistakenly try a 2 finger drag.

Re: Bug reporting

DDW...

I have added the project "O8 4.8.8 Release" to Flyspray.
Add your tasks there, please.

These are both good points, although somewhat specific to Mac, and I would not like to lose them.

Thanks
Dave
