Can't display overlays of grib files.

Hello all

I realized that Opencpn can display overlays of grib files with lenght only up to 180 degrees of longitude (e.g. -10 00W to 170 00E). Actually, I use NOOA and FNMOC grib files. I need to display overlays (wave, wind, current) from 0-360 / 180W to 180E.

"Overlays too wide and can't be displayed" is the message that appears on left bottom corner when I use grib files with length more than 180 degrees of longitude.

On the other hand, the cursor can read the data and the data are displayed over the grib plugin taskbar/menu. The particle map is displayed normally for grib files greater than 180 degrees of longitude.

I use Windows 10 Home, Is there any way to overcome this.

Any help/suggestion will much be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Nick

Currently it's impossible and there's no workaround. IIRC qtvlm can display them.

Could you post the grib or link to it?

Wow, a lot more problems than just the overlay for these gribs. I will fix in the next few days.
