Re: Celestial Navigation Plugin Redux

Dear Pierre,
Thank you for your advice.

Sean has written and right now he is working on building a Wind Generator which is occupying all of his time. He looked at the proposal and thought it would be quite complex to implement. Which I do not doubt, but he is very knowledgeable about opengl and overlays, so he would be the most likely person to do it I think. On the other hand, perhaps some talented programmer will step forward to this challenge.

Sincerely, Rick

In the mean time I have been doing lots of sight calculation and other navigation program, it would be nice for you guys to have such a features.
Although, opencpn works OK, there is always lieu of amelioration. Hope that someone will do it.
Best Regards.

240408 OpenCPN updated to 5.8.4-0+ 1637c28

Celestial Navigation has been crashing. It had been working with an occasional crash but now it does it every time you add a sighting. I love this program. It is so perfect. Been regaining my skills, doing it old school, but it is still totally cool to see the plot lines and beautiful graphics.
Thank you, click here for beer!

Re: Celestial Navigation Plugin Redux

So it appears that Win 11 is a problem?

I fired up Win11 OpenCPN 5.9 and downloaded Cel-Nav 2.4.41
and it works for me. Glad you like it!
