Charts II: NGA - 2700 Charts

Well... They were available as even NGA/NOAA believed that FOIA covers them and we did a lot of work to make them available as KAPs. As it turned out, some of the original sources of the data don't think so, as you can read earlier in this very thread...

Yeah, I read that. As I understand it, the NOAA charts were created based on NOAA, NASA and NSF funding and NGA charts through DOD, CIA funding. Yet again, the CIA goes unchecked.

IMO,the charts were mostly using hydrography and prints from Nato Allies. These Allies do not "open-source" their charts and retain copyright, and so, they were pulled.
