charts missing on opencpn 5.2.4

"User Standard Objects" are only available when the "Display Category" is selected. Otherwise it does not make sense.


This has been implemented some time ago in order to avoid the situation of editing the User Standard and nothing happens on the canvas - because "All" or "Base" Display Categories are in place.

Are you using OpenGL?
If so, please try with OpenGL turned off.
Settings->Display->Advanced.

Dave, Thank you. Tried but no joy. Also rebuilt texture database to no affect.

Installed 5.5.1118. Vector charts now display if accelerated graphics are turned off.

Please post you OpenCPN logfile, so that we may take a look at the OpenGL graphics setup.

File is attached named opencpn.log.kml to get around size limitation.

You could just download the charts again like you did the first time.

I have done this repeatedly and with two different RPi's and 3 different Windows 10 computers.

It takes a bit of playing around to remember, but you should be able to figure it out if you did it before.

I see all the plug-ins that were installed. When attempting to open up the Options (the "gear" icon, OpenCPN is not showing me the various tabs I can use to manage things.

Is there a trick to make that work using my finger as the mouse?
