Charts not loading-Help

I have downloaded openCPN new version from website but can not load any charts.Someone can help me please?

The inbound help function in OCPN, menu "about" e.g. the "?" or: Chart Installation | Official OpenCPN Homepage will describe how you install/copy your charts so they can be detected by OCPN.

I want to load Brasil rnc nautical charts and from there sub chart of rio de janeiro peninsula Antarctica.Can you describe me how to load?Regards.

What did you miss in the manual?

Put your files into a directory called ...\BR_RNC (for example)
Then
- go to Options (the wrench symbol)
- Charts
- Chart Files
- add directory (right hand)
- add your directory ......\BR_RNC
- and check "Force full database update" (below)
- Apply

And please study the manual. Will give you a lot of ideas and insights and you will be able to use OCPN to it's full extend.
