I would leave it as it is, it doesn't really hurt, and removing it would not be so easy.

Besides, there might be corner cases where people would still want the imperial units while having the GUI in French (French sailors navigating to UK, Canadian people, etc).

Not just yet, seems you still have to enable the build on the Appveyor (and Travis) side, if not done in the past 3 hours.

This version does not display either the wind roses nor current arrows though the information at a cursor position is displayed in the Climatology Display Control window.

Are you sure? I just fixed it yesterday so you need to pull the code and recompile.

The rendering was disabled for non-opengl by accident, and in opengl mode, there were black rectangles. I should have fixed both cases.
