Colors and symbols for vector charts

You did not comment on the machine so I still assume it is a Win 10, it looks like that from you picture.

It is a Windows 10 pro version, on a dell computer Laptop 16Go of mem.

Finally, now that my system has been fixed (xfce4 GUI reinstalled) it seems to be working ok.
These are my (final?) suggestions on the xml color setup for swedish classic charts. The original BSB/KAP charts has just two depth colors but I've added one between Safety Depth and Deep Depth. The two lesser depths are according to the original.
The contours and land colors are like the original BSB/KAP charts.
Only the section '<color-table name="DAY_BRIGHT">' is affected.

using GIMP color picker on an 6142 chart as reference gives exactly the color for LANDA that is suggested in #48 so that is the Swedish classic color.

You are however, of course, free to use any color you like but the color you suggest is far from Swedish classic.
The only 'extension' done in #48 is the intermediate color for DEPMD not in the original color setup.

The color also depend on the video card adjustment and not only the program set up. Your colors are too yellow for me.

boith my measurements are done on the same machine so your comment about video cards is totally irrelevant.As I said before, the specifies colors are according to Swedish classic color setup.

If you don't like them, simply use our own colors but that does not change the standard.

I am not arguiig with you, I am just giving you a second opinion. Take it or leave it as you wish. My setting correspond better to the CHS raster chart color.
