Connection settings lost, they really need to be saved into configuration backup...

Hi,

upfront I have and still love OpenCPN, great piece of software, easy to use and up to the job.

Still, as it seems, nothing is perfect.

I updated our NavLaptop to 5.10 on Windows 10.
I had chosen to keep the settings.

Much to my dismay, all the connections were lost and also the chartgroups and more settings.

While it stressed me, I thought, hey, just reload the configuration backup template I saved a while ago and everything will be back to normal.

Unfortunately that was not the case and I had to reconfigure all by hand. Good we have a backup NavLaptop which I had not updated so I could read most of the settings from it's screen.

So, now I really really would beg the OpenCPN developers to include the connection setup in the backup template. Everything else is a pain to set up again, but the connections are often made with a lot of fiddling around on the different electronics. They are a major pain if they are lost.

Could you please be so kind to add that.

Thank you.
