Dashboard winds shift too fast, how to dampen?

I have a Shipmodul multiplexer to supply NMEA 0183 data to my computer, thus I can have true and apparent winds displayed on a dashboard window.

But I find the display of winds shift too fast, the displayed winds jump too much in direction and force. Much unlike my Raymarine instrument.

Does anyone know if the problem is due to the multiplexer or the dashboard? Any way to dampen/average out the data display?

There's no way to dampen or average it in Dashboard.
In my own dated Simrad wind instrument there's dampen factor I use.

Thank you for that fact, Håkan. I will have to check more with the multiplexer then. My wind instrument reading is OK, so I do not think I should do anything there.

I also have Shipmodul multiplexer and happens the same with the wind but is what the vane reads and sent to the network.

Shipmodul has a marvellous customer service, and you could ask for some advice or programming into the system, because it has a lot of possibilities.
