Question Disabling charts?

How to temporarily disable the loaded charts and see the basic map again? I looked in the help files and also in the keyboard shortcuts. I don't think I'll have to delete the charts at all to do such thing.

Re: Disabling charts?

I don't know what the piano bar refers to. Go to
Options->Charts->Chart Groups

Create a new group, call it none, and don't add any charts to it. Now you can change chart groups either by pressing a number key, or by right clicking anywhere and selecting the 'none' group.

This is an important feature if you start adding lots of charts of different types, ENC, ocharts, MBtiles Satellite images, etc.

The piano bar is the group of colored buttons at the bottom of the screen which represent each chart available for your position.

I wasn't aware of this feature and just tried it, it appears that you can disable all but the last visible chart.
