Display is not projecting maps correctly

Quite suddenly my OpenCPN is projecting only individual (ratser?) maps without smoothly transitioning between them (see attached). My Settings dialog now has dark background, which makes it difficult to read. I even re-installed the software but still get these errors (I did not delete my settings). What am I missing?

1. You are in "Dusk" mode. Press the "Moon-star" toolbar button to cycle back to daylight mode.


2. You are in single-chart mode. Press the "Q" key to switch back to quilt mode.


3. The online user manual is your friend.

Thank you @bdbcat! That did it. With friends like you, who needs manuals! Seriously, I would not know what to look for in the manual in this case. Since it seems to have started quite suddenly, I thought it was some video setup issue. Thanks again.

If the dusk or night mode appears again on re-start, check if Inland ECDIS is activated (Options|UserInterface).
This mode will start always with a dimmed screen.
