ENC Text icon missing

I have downloaded the openCPN 5.0 version onto my new laptop which has Windows 10. The Enc Text icon is missing from the toolbar and the chart text doesn't show up on the screen. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled a couple of times with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks

Go to the bottom right of the screen: there you find the display menu (the "burger") with the most important settings for the canvas.


The "t" key shortcut does work as always, too.
