Fedora 26 Install Help

Hoping someone can give me some advice for installing OpenCPN in Fedora 26. It appears the repository linked on the main website is for Fedora 20. I've added that repository and still cannot install. Am I missing something simple? Thanks in advance!

I was able to find the updated repo for Fedora 26, but it crashes on launch on my NUC7i5BNH. I'm open to using another Linux distro if there is one that most users have had luck with. Should I go with an slightly older version of an OS and a certain version of OpenCPN?

I'm using xubuntu 16.04 x64 - works fine.
