Free Charts Ireland

Anybody know where i can get free charts for the west coast of ireland well the south west please for use with opencpn, total newbie, so ever bit of help appreciated.

The UK and Irish charts aren't free and if you have illegal copies on board and get caught it could be a big fine. Same with Canadian charts.

The CM93 suite of charts also include Ireland.

Questions like this pops up from time to time, and the answer is always the same. All known free, legally down-loadable, chart sources are listed on this page in the OpenCPN Wiki. If there are any other sources I'm sure the wiki would be amended!

CM93 isnt free, There was a set ripped off some time ago, the current set CM93/3 is all chargable

Thanks very much for the quick replies, i dont mind having to pay money for the right ones but who would be the cheapest or most reasonable for the right map that will work in opencpn or the likes please for the same area, i only have a small fishing boat and want to mark a few spots and a few routes.

Is this the legendary 'Russian CM93'.... of which I have a copy...
or another more up to date one....
