Using Android paid version, no manual as promised, help function cannot find site, no easy way to contact developers,
This is not right, or am I wrong and this app. Is only for techies?

What are your problems, and who/where have you gone to for support?

I don't have this app, but a quick look suggests that the paid app developer provides support through his own forum.

Using something that's open-source or based on an OS platform sometimes does involve more effort from the user. You don't necessarily have to be a techie, but some reading and research, and a bit of fiddling, are usually required.

Best advice is to find someone local to you who has already got this working.

Have you joined the paid app's forum and asked any questions there?

I haven't seen that promo, and no, I didn't see a manual on the developer's site, either. There is of course buckets of info about using OpenCPN at the main OpenCPN site.

There is apparently a free app available, as well. As per Celestial, if the paid app isn't meeting expectations, you should be able to uninstall and get a refund.

yes, I see you have posted several times and are frustrated. Why not log in at bigdrum as Lake Effect and Cagney have suggested and make some noise there?

You bought the paid application, and so are entitled to support on the OpenCPN for Android Dedicated Forum.

So, come on over and we will see what can be done.
Or, if you want a refund, that will be no problem as well.
