Furuno RADAR on OPENCPN

Hi all!

Anybody knows if my FURUNO radar 1833 works with OPENCPN?

On its manual I read, under OUTPUT data specs:

NMEA 0183 Ver1.5 GGA, GLL, RMA, RMC, GTD, VTG, ZDA (GPS data required)
RMB, WPL, BWC or BWR, APB, AAM, BOD, XTE, VHW, MTW,
DPT or DBT, DBS (ETR required),
TLL (L/L, Heading data required), TTM (ARPA required)

Sorry there is no plugin available for that kind of radar, and will never be.
The output you refer to must be what the radar system is capable to resend to other units if a GPS, compass etc are connected to it and has nothing to do with the radar signal itself.

All you can get from this unit is the ARPA targets (TLL, TTM), displayed similar to AIS. The rest of the sentences, as Hakan said, has more or less nothing to do with radar.
