Did you look in QK Config tool to see what messages are supposed to be there?


Your COM3 and COM16 messages are all GPS messages (with everything unplugged?).

Okay, have run the config tool, several times.
Com 3 and 16 messages must be coming from the internal gps....
I have dissabled them in the device manager....
lets see how we go...

Quark Configuration tool, has no facility to copy and paste feed info.
seems to be working correctly,
shows " Connected" at the bottom center,
but also shows com8 closed RX 2492

Screen shot? But the real question is, are you seeing the expected messages for Wind and Water data that I posted in an earlier comment?

would this be for a one-off? or each NMEA that I want sent out?

Pacific, and I work until 11pm.

What connections are made to the QK? I.E> From Seatalk, NMEA1,2,3? It probably doesn't matter, but I would uncheck those that are not being used. And because you are not (currently) sending any data from OCPN to the QK, I would also uncheck the USB routing to NMEA, wifi, N2k.

What all is on the config screen? Is that where you configure com8, etc. in the software? I am going to review the manual, but the NMEA OUT 38400 does not to me look like that is the speed of the USB connection, but rather the speed of an NMEA0193 connection.
