GDK Critical ( Failed)

When I start OPENCPN under Ubuntu 12.10 I see the following message in the Terminal Window

(opencpn:3131): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_window_get_origin: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

The program seems to be functioning correctly so I am unsure what this error means.

I do not have a library of Charts yet - I am still working on getting my USB functioning, though I am seeing progress on that front.

It is safe to ignore those messages, same thing with the ALSA lib messages, introduced by Port Audio.
