GPS Coordinate search

Hi everyone,

Got a question. Does Open CPN or one of it's plugins have the ability to manually input a GPS location (Lat-Lon) like a waypoint and then place a marker there? I can do it by searching with the mouse pointer and when close drop a marker, but it's imprescise and very time consuming.

ONe way is to drop a marker anywhere, go to its properties and enter the desired lat/lon. The mark will move to that location.

Routes and Mark Manager - Wapoints - New.
It will default to your current location, but you can enter any Lat/Long

On my system, the entry window is very small initially and needs to be resized with the mouse so that you can see the relevant data fields
