As just read in the GNSS info chanel it is possible the use of Galileo might not be permitted in the US. See: Comments on Galileo Waiver Praise Benefits, Flag Future Complications | Inside GNSS

Galileo.

Another bummer news. How repetitive.

I think by now they should have changed the name to Barroso or Tusk or Gpsxit. Naming a project so delayed and so failed a 'Galileo' is a disgrace to the name of a that great person!

EU should make up their mind if they want more bureaucracy or more technology. One cannot have both things at the same time, apparently.

Hopefully the EU people still have a GPS fix in their boats when the US GPS was shut down for whatever reason...
