Find the file HARMONIC.IDX among your newly uploaded Harmonic files.
Search for the tidal station you would like to change.
If it is calculating tides based on a reference station it will look similar to this station in Mexico.



The "-6:0" after the position is the time you want to change. Be aware of possible Daylight Saving (Summer Time), as OpenCPN take this into consideration. Change, save and restart OpenCPN.

It is an ASCII file. So open it with TextEdit.app.

There is the bundled manual (tool bar --> "?") - you can also install the pdf version from the App store.
OpenCPN is a "swiss-knife" navigator and plotter. The manual shows how to use its full power.

I've installed 5.2 on two Macs. One is running 10.15.5. The other is running 10.15.4.

Everything is fine on the former but on 10.15.4 I don't have a chart downloader plugin or the other integrated plugins. I poked around github and googled to see if there is a debug log or how to enable it.

Pointers on where to start debugging appreciated.

This was precisely true as the name of the directory is actually /Applications/OpenCPN.app/Contents/PlugIns. Notice the capital I.

sudo ln -s PlugIns Plugins

Restart and all is happy. grepping the bad address in /Users/hoffmang/Library/Preferences/opencpn/ didn't find any matches.

Thoughts on a root cause?

Hi Dave,
you are the right man to solve my problem.
I use Opencpn, on my laptop, since 2010, I think.
Today I paid to use it on my Android tablet.
Problem is, I forgotten my username and can't login.
On my laptop it works fine.
What can I do please?

To install the OCPN app you download it from the Android play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....opencpn&hl=en


If you can't log into your Android device, this would be something nobody can resolve from OpenCPN.


OpenCPN does not require no additional log-in.
With exception of using charts from o-charts.


Or did we got you wrong?
