Zoef...

We would like to inspect your logfile for a crash scenario related to low memory.... Obviously, we don't like crashes. We should gracefully degrade in performance if necessary.....

Re: Inland ENCs

Hello,
I have tried Danube charts and only problem I have is with Austria. On few sectors there is no shores or kilometers as you can see in attached picture. I tried to install charts update but still the same. Any idea? Thanks for help.

Re: Inland ENCs

I ask them about this problem.
Two different departments are responsible for the charts, one for the river banks, shorelines and depth's. And another one for the signs and stuff so the result is two different files that cannot be shown at the same time..
And I haven't got a clue how to apply the updates.
The charts are shown properly with Seemyenc, so the charts are most likely produced with sevencs tools.

Re: Inland ENCs

It is interest that only Austria charts have that problem. I contact DORIS support and they tell me to contact OpenCPN. There is two type of files 1SAD i 2W7D one is for signals and it's ok and the other is land configuration and something is wrong between openCPN and this file.

Re: Inland ENCs

The French authorities finally made an interesting inland ENC available: the Grande Saone , between Lyon and Saint-Symphorien (St. Jean de Losne). It runs well under OpenCPN. and select Toute la carte.zip
Go to www.vnf.fr/ecdis/ , click J'accepte ces conditions and select Toute la carte.zip

We had the opportunity to use the latest ECDIS chart set for the Garonne on teh way to the Canal du Midi 10 days ago under very difficult circumstances and it was extremely helpful

Re: Inland ENCs

On the website of Zdeněk Hrdina (Waterways) I found this list of European ECN organizations where maps can be downloaded:
Not all of the sites have an English language version, but even on the Hungarian one you'll find easily the ECN maps.
