Install opencpn linux into android tablet

Hi Does anyone restore android to linux then install linux version of opencpn??
I have spare old tablet and thinking to try...
It would be great If it can work.
Laptop is difficult to charge during voyage and android version is limited features...

Keep it simple... use the existing Android version of OpenCPN.

What "features" do you feel are missing on Android? The main program is very similar to PC version. Most of the main plugins are available.

Thank you sv_pelagia. I am after these..And I just start using opencpn (preparing for offshore passage) on my android 11 tablet. so maybe I am missing a lots of information. Also I can't find 'plugin app' on google play :/

Plugins are now handled by the pluginmanager Options->Plugins but unfortunately neither of your listed plugins are available on Android.

AIS targets are though present on the chart canvas so the need for AIS radar may be limited?

Another feature that is missing (or hidden) in the android version is Night colors. The windows version toggles colors with the Crescent Moon and Star Icon. There is no such icon in the android version.
