Intermittent TCP on V5.0

Ran V5.0 with Vesper XB-8000. NMEA was showing up fine on phone running WatchMate App. NMEA data to O dashboard was intermittent only receiving data for a second or two every other minute. I do have the OpenCPN log file.

You have not described where the respective devices are located or what OS and what equipment.

Probably because you are running the WatchMate App and OpenCPN at the same time. Run O without trying to share the GPS and all will be fine.

OpenCPN V5.0 Running on Ubuntu 18.04. The Vesper has wifi. I have attached the log as a PDF as the forum does not allow .log or text files over 1,000 bytes. I should note this ran fine last year on Ubuntu 16.04 and an older version of O.

Try turning off all plugins except Dashboard.
Try removing all connections and make a single new connection to receive Nmea.
Don't run any other software that uses Nmea.
