Layout issue - names overlap ...

Good day all,
On my OPEN CPN, version 4 something I believe... at different zooming, the names of places and other things are showing up twice, which makes it look really crowded and messy... how do I fix it without erasing the name of places and all the rest ? many thx Marc

Which charts are you using?

At Options|Vector charts you will find several options and parameters to play with.

For trials and tests with the risk of ending up with unusable settings there is solution in OCPN 5:
use templates.

At Options|Display|Templates

There is even an emergency exit for heroes - the Recovery template..
