Re: Linux Marine Distro

Hola Frank Baudet.

We travel with a little cargo boat (40m) between France and the Netherlands.
Nowadays we are obliged to have AIS on the boats by government regulation.

Since we do not use Windows by principe (in post Snowden era, everybody should know why (it's not an OS, it's spyware, among many other reasens)) we were happy with the existence of OpenCpn, so that we can 'see' the other boats.

Unfortenatly our computer, which was very, very old, crashed, and we had to buy a new one in a hurry.
More unfortenatly even, they only sell these things with Windows pre-installed.
(How am I not surprised in this world of fake 'free' market)
Luckely I had already played with your OS some days, and had still one USB stick with your Marinux OS around.

I putted the USB-stick in the arse of the new computer, changed the boot options to 32 bits...
And we could continue our voyage.

Thank you very much for that.
