Logbook causing program crash

I have been having this problem for some months now. When I try to open the logbook the CPN program crashes, I have tried to completely delete the program and reinstall the latest version, I have tried going back to an old version but the problen remains. I tried deleting all plugins and reinstalling them one at a time running the program for a few days between installs they all work until I load the logbook as soon I try to open the logbook CPN crashes. I have just to load the logbook again after running for a week without a problem and again the program crashed, I can open in safe mode uninstall logbook and the program runs OK.
I have noticed during the crash process an error message pops up saying collecting data, I have found a crash report directory with an entry for todays date but I don't knows what it means.
Not sure where to go now can anyone make a suggestion.
