This depends on a new API-Version of OCPN 2.61310 and a upgrade

there again.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Greetings Konni,

Thank you for your reply. I have installed 913 and new find-it.
First time added some items, all worked fine, buy function went to log and performed as expected.
Went back to find-it, buy no longer flaged even with actuell lower than quota.
Edit actuell by inserting zero again, try delete, no buy flag.
Again edit actuell, this time entered 00(2 zeroes) and buy flaged as expected.

My thought is that list should remained flaged buy until actuell is updated ?

Hope this helps or at least makes sense.

Thank you,

Mario

I think, i have to add a column "bought" and flag the item "Yes" when "buy it" was hitted,
so only rows with a new buy-flag are added to the logbook. (if(buy & !bought) then send data to logbook)
What do you think about that ?

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello,

a few words about version 0.913.

I worked a bit on the crew-/watchlist and have split the datafile
"crewlist.txt" into "crewlist.txt" and "watchlist.txt", because not all
crewmembers a watchkeepers (e.g. children).
if you have a watchlist in < 0.913 it's gone, sorry.
but i've added some new features. please follow this instructions for a demo:

1. add 4 crewmembers as in the picture
2. delete one crewmember in the watchlist (for this demo only)
3. right-click in watchlist and select "Set Watches"
4. fill the start-time of the 1.person or use the default 00:00
5. optional drag'n drop a person in the listbox
6. set no. of watches e.g. 3
7. hit enter

Now set the watchtime of the previous deleted crewmember (in the watchlist) equal to another crewmember.

1. right-click in crewlist (the deleted watchlist-memeber) and select "Add to Watchlist same as"
2. in the popup-dialog select a crewmember
3. hit ok (see image watches1.png)

--------------------------------------

In the logbook i've added a searchfunction (rightclick-menu) yesterday.
it's not complete, the date-search and the option "all logbooks" are not implemented now.

i hope it helps

best regards
konni

Might be easier or less confusing if flag is dependent on the values- if actuelle is less than quota then flag. When you buy the supplies update your list with the amount in actuelle. If actuelle => quota unflag.
Also, when you go to buy it lists actuelle, may I suggest this be the difference or amount to buy, not the amount on hand. This would be more useful.

Regards,

Mario

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello Mario,

i change today the plugin in the way that it keeps the buy-flag untouched when
"buy it" was cklicked. A new column "to buy" is added to show the difference between quota and actuell.
Also i change the logbook (next version) that it accepts only one entry (which is updated) from the plugin.

'til later

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Greetings Konni,

Downloaded the new version of FindIt and logbook 0.914. The following are my observations:

Click on labels causes opencpn to crash. with no data displayed. When data displayed(provision list) clik on blank between row 1 label and buy label and crash.
When new line would be better to have blank, not previous data come up ? The buy is not flaged unless you change the values anyway.
All other functions appear to be working as expected.

Regards,

Mario

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello Mario F,

I downloaded and installed the new version V914 plug-in logbook and plug_in FindIt.

I'm doing tests in all directions, I have no crash!

In your previous post, talk about labels. What label is it? In what tab? In which column?

Best regards

Gilletarom.

i've fixed that.

I install a options-dialog to select previuos data come up yes/no.
Quote:

here i'am not sure what you mean.
the value of "To Buy" changes when actuell < quota ("BUY" is set to 'Yes'), otherwise i leave it blank (which means zero) and "BUY" is set to blank.
i add a option to select a blank column or a zero for "To Buy" and a
"YES/NO"-option for "BUY".

you can also click in the "Buy"-column when actuell >= quota and fill in
(temporary) a amount in "To BUY". At the next start/open of FindIt the
amount is set to blank or when actuell < quota to the difference.
I installed this if you e.g. don't want to increase the amount of quota, but
you want that the item appears in the logbook-list.

i post, when i have the made the nessesary changes.

best regards,
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Greetings Konni,

It is looking good big improvement.
Please take my observations or input as suggestions, not demands.

"I install a options-dialog to select previuos data come up yes/no." This I could not find anywhere.
I know I am somewhat anal(OCD)....but now when you start a fresh list, open find-it with no data on screen, if you click on heading labels (buy, actuelle, etc.) on top...crash
Now when you start to enter data, make supply list they work as intended(reorder col) but that little blank box at the top left between row label "1" and "buy" causes a crash. I know why the heck am I clicking on a blank do nothing space???
I told you its OCD
Once you start to add data to list and add new line previous line is displayed/copy to new line only exeption is text is blank(item description). At this point if actuelle is <quota buy should flag but it does not until you delete and enter new data in one of the col.

But all in all it is working very well. Again thank you for your efforts and responses.

Regards,

Mario
