When the logbook add line in the logbook, it takes the focus while the viewing map is most important.
Can you modify this ?

Thanks a lot.
Pascal, il y a une case à cocher ou à décocher pour forcer logbook à travailler en arrière plan. C'est dans les préférences.

Hi Gilletarom,

the sourcode is not up on Github. I'm checking if the file compiles for linux and if it runs without bugs.

Don't translate now the plugin 'till it's in a bugfree-condition.
i wait a week for bugreports and send you a message when it's ok.

thank's for the offer

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello,

I observed two crash tonight with version V1.186. But I do not know exactly in what context. I used VDR simulate navigation and I clicked on "Star events." Then I went in the other tabs. It could be that these crashes have occurred when an event occurs (timer, etc ...). In both cases, this happened in the "boat" tab.

Gilletarom.

Hi Gilletarom,

i just created a VDR-file and run it with all events on.
No crash with GPS (record) and no with VDR (play).
If your observed crash with your VDR-file is repeatable, please
send me this file. these are real data not only a simulation i made with
a gps-server.

best regards

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello Gilletarom,

i found the bug. the corrected file (1.187) is up on sourceforge.
the bug in options is fixed also.

I saw something strange in the image you send me. the year is
2092 ??
As you can see in my the attached image it's 2011, tested in english german, frensh.
I have to correct insertion of the watchmembers, if the date is not
in the timeframe of the watchlist.

i think you'll find some more bugs, because 1.2 is more a 2.0 so many
has changed behind the scene.

best regards
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello konni,

I am running opencpn 3.1.915 on Ubuntu 12.04. I tried to install the logbook from github according the readme file.
First problem: The directory " <OPENCPN_SOURCE_TLD>/plugins " does not exist on my tablet. May be you can explain me what the meaning of this is about.

Thank you in advance

Hello tiberius,

OPENCPN_SOURCE_TLD means Toplevel-domain of your sourcecode.
i appended a image which explains more than words.
on my computer its ~/projects/opencpn.
cd into /plugins and enter this command:

git clone git://github.com/konnibe/LogbookKonni.git LogbookKonni_pi
or for the Preview 1.2
git clone git://github.com/konnibe/LogbookKonni-1.2.git LogbookKonni_pi

i hope this helps.

best regards
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

ok, thank you konni so far,

I made an folder called plugins, because it was not in the Opencpn. Then I downloaded the logbook to this folder. Then I tried to install it according to your read me file. May be you can help with that also. Below you can find what the terminal gives me back

Thanks in advance

tiberius

sabine@ubuntu:~/Dokumente/OpenCPN/plugins$ cd ../build
bash: cd: ../build: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
sabine@ubuntu:~/Dokumente/OpenCPN/plugins$ cmake ..

Specify --help for usage, or press the help button on the CMake GUI.
sabine@ubuntu:~/Dokumente/OpenCPN/plugins$ cmake --build . --target logbookkonni_pi

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hallo Sabine,

did you see the precompiled logbook on the OpenCPN-downloadpage ?
Select 32- or 64 bit version and copy it (as admin) to:

/usr/local/lib/opencpn/

---------------------------

if you have to compile it yourself:
is '~/Dokumente/OpenCPN/plugins' the folder where downloaded the OpenCPN-Source ?
see my image i posted before, you can see the folder-structure in the ls command (terminal). if you have Opencpn compiled before you should have a build folder.

if you have used the git-command in your Dokumente-folder, this is wrong. please select the folder where you have compiled OpenCPN , cd to /plugins and use here the git command as shown in the last post.

Now you should be able to compile.

if you have more questions you can write in german to
konnibe at web.de.

best regards
konni
