Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Dear Community,

i stop working on the logbook.

if you start thinking 'for what i'm doing this' the end of the job is reached
and it doesn't depend on a single post.
Health condition is another part, i can write only with thumb, ring-and smallfinger on my right hand.

I too am very sorry to hear about your problems. You have created a fantastic feature for sailors to use.

I hope someone can carry on your work. Perhaps if you post the source for the last version 1.192, someone can carry on supporting it.

Hello,

i have to say many thank's for the good wishes to all who has posted or sended a private mail.

i've forgotten to upload the source for 1.192 and go straight forward to 1.193 which has now a connection via guid for routes and tracks (kml). but there is a minor bug in it and it needs a connection via wxJason to the mainprg to get the active track, same when merging tracks to update the guid's in the logbook/s.
Thatswhy i don't like to upload now.

Konni has done a marvelous job creating this plugin. It would be nice if somebody would take over. I have after using it for a whole season found that there is a couple of small improvement that I would like.
I would like to have the latest entry as line number one. It is much easier to enter manual entries when you don’t have to scroll down to the bottom of the page on a longer passage.
I would also like to have the opportunity to choose that there will only be made an entry in the logbook when a route I active or there is an anchor alarm activated.

Yes, wouldn't that be wonderful, a lot of work to take on though s maybe not surprising if no one takes it on.

Further to previous post, I've found the source code for 1.2 here.. https://github.com/konnibe/LogbookKonni-1.2
Seems to compile OK as per the readme but it crashes with a Segmentation fault when either the log button is pressed or preferences in the options is pressed. On Debian & OpenCPN 3.2.0.

Anyone managed to get 1.2 running in Linux?

I downloaded the 1.2 source code.
After commenting out lines 5 - 7 in FastComboEditor.cpp, the plugin did compile, with a few warnings.
The final plugin is listed as version 1.190.
No problem when activating or selecting "Preferences".

Using Kubuntu 12.10 on an amd 64.
