You should accept this.
I do not walk on the sea and I am accustomed to the metric system.
There must be a choice.
Strange why the global parameter of CPN measurements for plug-ins itself is not used!

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

There is a good historical reason for nautical miles and knots. It is based on the earth and has nothing to do with imperial or metric units. A nautical mile is a physical constant.

let him count in miles and knots. You can also make the plugin recalculate the metric system to display

@rgleason: I propose to make your v1.3006 now available for downloads on the official openCPN site?

Skipperearly, does it work ok? I have not had time to test it, so we rely on you!
If so, I will have it posted.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

1.3006 is an improvement over 1.2 and has no new bugs - so I suggest to release it as it is for now.

Have logged enhancement requests and some minor bugs in flyspray, don't know if it caught some developers attention - needs more votes from users I guess.

Ok we will update it in downloads.
Tracker shows two bugs mentioned earlier in this thread.
1. High Res Surface Pro
2. Some values don't get transferrred to forms.

Ptulp and Schapsy are to be thanked for this update.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

@rgleason: thanks for updating. Win install is fine but I noticed Debian version (openplotter) does not update to 1.3006 - is there more needed to update the repository for raspi?

Skipperearly, sorry but Openplotter needs to be advised about it.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Greetings everyone,

I really enjoy the logbook plugin but I see that there is a newer version. A quick question do you need to remove the earlier version to install this new one or will it overwrite previous releases? I have some features that will not work so hoping this latest version will clear some of this.

thank you all,

Maurice

Don't think you need to uninstall first. I usually just install the latest version obviously closing ocpn first and using the same target directory.
Which "features that will not work " do you mean. Can you please give brief description and reference to tracker?

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello again,

I installed the new version and it seems to overwrite the previous version. It did not fix my issue which is not that important. The plugin will not open the crew layouts to view them but otherwise everything else seems to work. I can edit the crew layouts but they won't open to be viewed.*All other layouts are editable and can be viewed. It is not that important an issue.

Cheers,

Maurice

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello,

Has anyone managed to install and run the logbook on OpenCPN 4.99, available at this address:
https://github.com/Rasbats/OpenCPN-4.99-Plugins/releases/download/v0.0/logbookkonni_pi-1.3006-win32.exe

I tried on 2 different laptops.
The installation is going well but in the menu of supplements, nothing appears and I can not activate the plugin...
