Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

The libraries we need are distributed inside the OpenCPN application bundle (You can see them in /Applications/OpenCPN.app/Contents/Frameworks)
Whatever you have in /usr/local/lib should actually never be used, but on your system for some reson is. I don't know how you deployed wxWidgets to /usr/local (Built from scratch? Homebrew? Else?) so I can't tell you how best to remove it, but even brutal
Code:
sudo rm -rf /usr/local/lib/libwx*.dylib
will do it's job.

There are 8 useless symlinks. Who on earth has made this ********?
Before you ever try to explain something make your homework first.

My dear friend...
Could you perhaps enlighten us explaining what you believe is wrong and what exactly makes you believe it is wrong?
I am especially interested in the relation between uslessness of the forementioned symlinks and the actual linking information of the OpenCPN binary I am sure you collected from the output of
Code:
otool -L /Applications/OpenCPN.app/Contents/MacOS/OpenCPN
before posting your highly insightful comment or order or whatever that is.
As always, many thanks in advance.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello together,
Someone is using the Logbook Konni 1.4.15.1 with Ubuntu 21.04?
Which other Logbook do you use with OpenCPN and Ubuntu 21.04?

You should see logbookkonni in Options > Plugins but I as I recall I removed it a little while ago, due to some issues.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Sorry to address this again but I'm having the same problem as sandman92k.
Running LysMarine 32Bit https://github.com/bareboat-necessities/lysmarine_gen on Raspberry 4 and what ever version I'm installing from https://cloudsmith.io/~opencpn/repos...prod/packages/ I'm getting the same error "/usr/include/wx-3.0/wx/arrstr.h(178): assert "nIndex < m_nCount" failed in Item(): wxArrayString: index out of bounds"
Any hint or help is highly appreciated. I also have the confess that I'm a beginnner in Rasp / Linux and trying to find my way.

Thanks

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

@ojesse you should discuss this with lysmarine. I have no way of testing RPI and we are not sure how lysmarine has setup OpenCPN. Perhaps Mike and you can isolate the problem and come back to us with specifics.

Thanks for responding ... got already in touch with Mike and this was his quote:
"The bug you in OpenCPN you mentioned I think it was reported in OpenCPN github issues."

Best

Well, he reported a number of bugs and they were all corrected as far as I know. We hope to release an update when some circleci services become available. You could try that to see if there is a difference.

Also you will have to get the specific issue he reported. Sorry I don't have enough time for this.
