Monitors

I’ve just started looking into OpenCPN and already have some hardware to implement this on.

I have a raspberry pi 4, and a Pican-m hat. I assume this hardware should be fine for connecting the rpi to my nmea network.

Currently, I have an Axiom MFD, raymarine radar, simrad nac-2 / ap44 autopilot.

I’d like to integrate as much of that as I could into the raspberry pi system.

My first question is what monitors are you guys using? Do you connect a touchscreen to the rpi or do you Remote Desktop to the rpi via a tablet? I was thinking about setting the rpi up as a cabin computer, but I could see the benefits of having it at the helm next to my axiom.
