I built CPN from the MUI branch. I liked Dave's thoughts on the concept of MUI.
I suggest here to discuss suggestions and comments on the MUI interface.

I ask questions and express my wishes.

Chart Panel Options
1. The appearance effect of "Chart Panel Options" is long, better without effects.
2. Is there any point in the option of including the Toolbar? All of these are in the "Chart Panel Options"
3. Do you need the "North Up" and "Cource Up" switches if the chart orientation mode is switched on the Compass icon? You need to make a compass icon for the MUI style. Also, you need to remove the "North Up", "Cource Up" modes from the context menu.
4. You need to add the selection of Chart Groups from the drop-down list as in the "Display Category". From the context menu, remove the Chart Groups.
5. Add the option to hide all navobjects
6. "Single / Two Canvas" function can be removed from the settings and added to this panel. Also, you need a vertical arrangement for displays with a portrait orientation.

Elements of MUI
1. The strip of separation of two canvases is very wide, it is better to make thin
2. The control panel can be better positioned in the center of the canvas and not in the right corner?
3. I would like to see a scale scale with integer values ​​of scale 1: 10000, 1: 20000, 1: 40000, 1: 80000, etc.

This is indeed Work-in-process. The final result may not look like this at all, and for sure it is unsuitable for navigation. Best not to publish the install package, lest it is mistaken for production-quality code.

I will have no further comment on this branch until a Beta is formally released.
