Need help: update 5.2 lost all my waypoints

Hi everybody,
I need your crowd intelligence: I updated fron 5.0 to 5.2 and then all my tracks, routes and waypoints were gone - only my layers were left!
First thing I tried: rename an older navobj file (22 MB size) to navobj.xml, but that didn't bring the waypoints back. It would be a desaster, because of my big WP library.
Can anybody help me? Tks in advance.

Have you looked at your older (22 MB) navobj.xml? Does it look normal?
If so, please save this some where absolutely safe, like on a USB thumbdrive. Then you may experiment...

Can't help you recover but would suggest that in the future you export all tracks, routes and waypoints to a location on the computer.

Instead of renaming the old navobj.xml file, you might also try open the routemanager and import waypoints from gpx. Then choose the xml file as source.
The navobj xml is in fact also a gpx file (gpx is actualy a special kind of xml).
