Ron, the standalone sim interface looks good.

Using the plugin and your suggestions to toggle the switches and be more aware of the status of the grib file, (and I downloaded a new current grib file), I was able to get the grib data showing. I'll have to learn more later. Here is a screenshot or two.


I started to figure out how you can drive the boat and got it changing heading, etc. but there is more to understand later.

I am reworking the CRC routines thankfully started looking at it after your last sync so messaging.
