No four color depth shading

Hi there,

Running opencpn 5.10 on Linux I can't get four color depth shading on my Finnish oeSENC charts. Everything shallower than 10 is light blue, and everything deeper is greyish. I'd like to use Shallow Depth 2 m, Safety 3 m and Deep 5 m. Whatever I put in here, I have a lot of blue blobs on areas I usually consider as "white" for me.

They look the same on my Android pad as well, no four color depth shading.

Could the problem be with the charts? Thanks

Re: No four color depth shading

Here you go,

I have the depth in metric, so there are areas that should be white and there are areas that are deeper than 5 meters that now are blue but if I have understood this right they should be white with my setting.

Thanks for Your interest, appreciated;

Having the same issue on Android makes me believe that the chart material simply doesn't have depth curve for my preferred limits?

Re: No four color depth shading

a) you are on a dark color scheme? Linux and desktop flavor?
b) lat/lon of your screenshot?

Re: No four color depth shading

a) Yes, the dark scheme comes from my desktop settings in Ubuntu 24.04 Mate. Changing the theme doesn't impact the chart.

b) around 60°10.6N 25°16.24E
