O-Charts Plugin Compilation

Hi all,

I'm having some issues with the o-charts plugin compilation. Here the GIT Hub project page :

As I'm using Windows 10, scroll down and here are the 3 steps to follow :

> ..\buildwin\win_deps.bat
> cmake -T v141_xp -G "Visual Studio 15 2017" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo  ..
> cmake --build . --target tarball --config RelWithDebInfo

As I've installed Visual Studio 2022 instead of the 2017, I had to remove the -T v141 option in order to make it work (Also renamed the string accordingly with "Visual Studio 17 2022")

But, when launching the last command cmake --build ... I get the following errors :

Note:

The wxWidgets-3.1.2 folder seems to be downloaded at step 2 and it's zipped (?!) inside the buildwin directory.

Any particular reason why you want to compile o-charts_pi from scratch?

Hi Dave,

Just followed the link from here:
https://opencpn.org/OpenCPN/plugins/ocharts.html

Didn't notice any binaries to be downloaded, that's the reason why

o-charts may be downloaded and installed directly by OpenCPN version 5.2 or later.
There is no manual download required.


See Settings->Plugins.
