Anyway, thanks a lot, especially to nohal, for sounding out these depth matters so deeply. I suppose there are just too few expert people for such a project ... Let's hope for the best.


If things go well I will come back here and report. I suppose there's a number of people around who find the approach worthwhile.

Option for exchanging depth measurements. There would be an option to save depth data in the track log. How does a Garmin chartplotter do it
