For example Notepad++ gives you complete control about what you are doing, as CR/LF or just CR to control EOL.
The Windows Onboard Notepad will force the file into Windows formats always.

Tore, you should be dragging kap files onto bsbfix. If bsbfix works, you will not see anything happening.(it's weird but that's how it works)
I think in your instance you are best to use a hex editor to get the hang of what's important...
"Frhed" and "HxD"are ones I liked on windows....make a copy of your original kap and start over with one of these.
but yes,as BCN sez " notepad++" will do it BUT NOT WINDOWS "Notepad". It's confusing but there it is.

added: not to set you off on another tangent too soon but once you get the hang of it, you can use notepad++ to do batch replacement of the text of your troublesome "PR" in a bunch of kaps....

a possibly useful note: I have never been too clever with text formatting and all that so I usually set notepad++ to ANSI when dealing with kap files...
