Lets dig into this a bit. First we verify the basic chart cell rendering.
Please do this:

1. Create a directory with only the one offending chart in it, namely OC-47-9392E4.oesenc.
2. Start OCPN.
3. Switch to "Single Chart" mode.
4. Add the newly created directory with the single chart.
5. Create a new Group showing only that directory.
6. Switch to the new Group.
7. See how the chart now renders in single-chart mode. Post a screen shot, so that we all can reproduce the same result.

Did a apt-get update upgrade and fixed broken dependencies.

All Plugins disabled apart of oeSenc-pi.
Points 1-6 no problem. See screenshot 1.
After zooming in, O try's to start render the chart and hangs. (Screenshot 2)
OpenGL on/off no difference.
