Open CPN Logbook crashes

I am hoping someone can help, I have been having ongoing problems with CPN crashing when I try to start the logbook program, I have tried uninstalling and re installing both the main program and the logbook plugin I have been through the file directories and deleted all files relating to CPN and reinstalling it, the problem remains.
Open CPN runs fine without the logbook installed as soon as I try to open logbook preference the program stops.
I have attached a zip version (renamed to a doc file) hoping someone has some time to look at and point me in the right direction to fix my problem.
I am using windows 11 on a laptop and the latest version of CPN.
