Yeah, I just plugged my B&G Halo 20+ into the Ethernet jack on my Raspberry Pi OpenCPN/access point board and it works perfect. I have used it with a Ethernet switch on the Pi, but haven’t used Ethernet for anything but the radar connection, so eliminated the switch and kept it simple.

Thats the reason ORCA needed a blackbox too as its simply not possible to do that on a tablet.
But its much better implement then OpenCPN as the orca app connects to core and you operate it from the tablet and not just screenshare.
Means if you have a raymarine Quantum orca is your choice, if Navico/B&G then OpenCPN.
