OpenCPN 5.2.4+6b314e6 crashes

I am using current version 5.2.4+6b314e6 on two machines:

- MacBook Air of 2012 with Mojave because newer version don't run drivers and other SW to interconnect with my boat systems; this is my boat machine, only with Open CPN and chart files. The hard drive was erased before installing OpenCPN

- MacBook Pro of 2017 with BigSur at home

Both seem stable without 5X plug in package, using CM93_2011 charts.

In my boat I use ENC S63 PT series charts bought at ChartWorld. The system crashes often

At home, in OpenCPN I only have CM93_2011. I am trying to get a Grib file. When mail request is sent the system crashes immediately.

I have tried to install previous versions on Mojave (3.2.2. and 5.0.1) without success.

On BigSur OCPN crashes when a mail is sent to request a Grib file.

On Mojave OCPN crashes when maximising the display with the green button and also sending a mail to request a Grib file.

Any suggestions?
