i uploaded the release for win on github and it works fine on CPN 5.6.1
By the way, the Odograph tool appeared there, an analogue of the GPS odometer plugin, and it works great, it only requires support for the metric system of measurements.

Please be aware that the OpenCPN build versions found on Cloudsmith at any given time are the result of possibly experimental work based on the current github Master branch. They have been only minimally tested, and are in no way vetted for general use.
That said, we do appreciate feedback on the results of daily development, especially related to faults introduced inadvertently. That is part of the CI/CD process.

We just advise you to be careful when using these unpublished releases IRL.

ENC S-57 chart update not working correctly!
updated the file with the chart, went into the settings, checked the boxes for rebuilding the database, for updating. The chart has not been updated.
I had to delete SENC files, while the files were old by date. Doesn't seem to work with SENC rebuilding

OK, new Macbook Pro running Monterey and OpenCPN 5.6.0

The only charts I currently have loaded are CM93 1.31 ones and the official Peruvian ones.

Everything seems to be working OK except..

If, using the trackpad, I swipe left or right up or down I get the view as shown below.
The result is the same if I use the l/r/u/d keys on the key pad.

It stays this way until I do one of two things. Either zoom in or out or drag the cursor off the bottom of the OpenCPN window. It has to be the bottom , not the sides or the top.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Macbook display distortion:
1. Are you using OpenGL (Settings->Display->Advanced)?
2. Does it happen at all scales, or only when highly zoomed-in?

its happening at all scales right out to 'whole world'

I appear to be using OpenGL.

What does the log say?
Which cells (editions) and updates(?) involved? In case of updates, is the update chain complete and in the right order?

Nope. Earlier than that. This is a daily development branch build. Used to verify bug fixes, individually. Someday will become a Beta, leading to an OCPN 5.6.2 Release in a month or so.
