If you drag the chart around the screen, the chart does not redraw/refresh - see attached.
It only occurs with CM93 charts, even when they are all that is installed on a clean new installation.
This area seems to be a little bit strange and possibly your cm93 might be damaged also. Using 5.6.0 and my cm93 version it looks a little bit better but not correct at all. See the warning text for this area.

I pulled a backup copy of CM93 2013 from my time machine backup of a year ago and loaded it to OCM5.6.0 - same result. I also notice that CM93 charts won't display unless Chart Quilting is on - can't remember this being the case with OCM5.2.

Re: OpenCPN 5.6.0 Released

MacOS 10.14.6 / OCPN 5.6.0 Plugin 117
When enabling a route, the status window fields are all blank, and unable to reposition.
This may be a side effect of installing / uninstalling APRoute 0.4.4.0, but thought I might mention here...

When hovering the mouse pointer over the yellow bar at the screen bottom the popup information table of my CM93 chart of this area shows 2014-06-02. So you should get a newer version of CM93.
Since the developers seems not to be willing to update OpenCPN for CM93 charts anymore you have to live with several problems for this. There is not only the quilting problem.

Re: OpenCPN 5.6.0 Released

How does this looks with SASPLANET charts?
On my version of the French Polynesia, it looks OK.
You must have a problem with your installation.
I use 5.6.0

Re: OpenCPN 5.6.0 Released

I guess not enough of us participated in the beta!
CM93 charts, when you turn quilting off (necessary to get into CM93 offset mode), the chart completely disappears.
Windows 10, v5.6.0
If you turn Open GL Off (Settings / Display / Advanced), then you can see the CM93 chart in "quilting off" mode (F9) and make the adjustments to the chart offsets as normal, but with OpenGL off, I can't see my MBTile satellite charts to use as the reference for the adjustment.
This all worked OK in 5.4.xxx

OK, got the Overlay working.

AND after investigating further, I can report further about the Radar Dialog Window problem.

Is this the place to report this issue with this new release ???

We are not talking about sasplanet but about cm93. You should better read the thread before doing your comments.

Are you able to switch Quilting off?

Re: OpenCPN 5.6.0 Released

In my case, Accelerated Graphics (OpenGL) is causing CM93 charts to not load. OpenGL last worked in OpenCPN version 5.2. From what I can tell, this fails in all the 5.5 and 5.6 versions.

Also, I don't see the Quilting option in Options-Display-General, as per the documentation.

Use of OpenGL might be a problem with the graphic carte for a specific computer. Version 5.6.0 works here with and without.
The documentations has not been updated for some times. Quilting button has gone to the menu at the bottom right. When Quilting is off chart view of cm93 is gone and only the chart outlines are still visible.

Re: OpenCPN 5.6.0 Released

OpenCPN 5.6, if OpenGL is not selected, CM93 charts display with both chart quilting on/off. If OpenGL is selected, then chart quilting needs to be on for CM93 charts to display. This is different from 5.2, where CM93 displayed under OpenGL.

This is an inconsistency and change from OpenCPN 5.2 with how CM93 charts are displayed. In 5.2, CM93 display with and without OpenGL or quilting on/off. Something here changed in the 5.5 and 5.6 releases.

Yes, I found the chart-quilting option on the menu to the bottom right. This is not an option I use, so I forgot that it moved
