OpenCPN 5.8 crashes with OpenGL

I have loaded OpenCPN 5.8 on 2 more computers, 2 W10 but different versions, 1 W11 22H2. All have Intel based graphics, nothing special, all work fine with OpenGL and CM93. Details below.

2023 Kamrui Mini PC 12GB W11 22H2 Intel UHD Graphics, driver 31.0.101.1999
2021 Asus UX425JA Laptop 8GB W10 21H2 Intel UHD Graphics, driver 31.0.101.2121
2015 Asus UX305 Laptop 8GB W10 1909 Intel HD Graphics 5300 driver 20.19.15.4549

I had noticed before when scanning the chart database for S63,Open CPN crashed ( this happened with previous versions of OpenCPN too)

So I deleted all charts and folders for that, re-imported the permits for AUSENC and NZENC S63 charts, and added the Base and cumulative updates, selecting no to create OENC option. Then the scan of database occurred, and seemed ok. I have just come back 20 minutes later and the program crashed again.

Only plugins are S63, Radar and OCPN Draw.

Not sure what I should do from here testing wise.

I think I may have found that when the radar screen is open (window docked) that is when it crashes. I will test overnight, but when I close the radar from the dock button, seems to stay running.
The settings in radar are docked, overlay on, ais targets shown. Did not have issue with previous version of Opencpn and same radar settings (albeit previous plugin version)

Perhaps uninstall Ocpn_draw and Radar_pi and see if it still does it. Then load one of the pi and test.

With version 5.8.0-0+402.0bc93bc same problem over and over again and it has nothing to do with Windows 10.pro; but with something in the program itself. Why do you keep on doing the same thing over and over again?

Sorry, but a report like that is of absolutely no use to us, or anyone.
More detail is needed.

For those experiencing the specific problem of crash with OpenGL enabled, and cm93 charts displayed, the following test version may be used.

This version corrects ONLY the cm93 OpenGL fault. No other changes are considered.

Installed 5.8.0-0+404.f3cc0d2 as well as reinstalled the radar plugin and runing well for 2 hours so far, with radar screen open. Will advise if fails again.

I upgraded one of my laptops and see no new bad behavior. Added the radar plugin (even though I don't have a radar). No crashes here.

I did check the CM93 offset issue and no change there (as expected).
