NEXT PROBLEM:
on rebuilding the database for my osSENC charts, OC freezes and has to be killed (WIN10,32bit version). It did not happen when at first I was loading the NETHERLANDS and BELGIUM charts, but the UK and FRANCE ATLANTIC charts do not load properly. The log says: "Warning: Caught MainLoopException, continuing..."
Is this a bug or is there a problem with a chart file?
I have attached the log for this session.
(And then, nv charts are decrypted on building the database but do not show up on the screen. USB dongle is in place.
Is there a separate thread for this problem?)

From the log a big part of the charts should be present at restart as they got "ingested".
Does the process hang always at the same file?

the problem of charts not loading properly occurs equally in 4.8.8. Seems to be a priblem of outdated license etc.

Please remove the NVCharts plugin completely from your configuration, and then become confident that oeSENC charts are working correctly on chart database rebuild.
When that is settled, we can address NVCharts.

I had exactly the same problems (W10 Home 64), now solved with the modified version of oesenc.pi.

A confirmation......

Win 10 64-bit.
Uninstalled previous OCPN plugins and version.
Deleted OCPN root folder.
Deleted all test charts.
Rebooted.
Installed V5.
Installed oeSENC V5 via the main plugins download page.
Similar fault reported; missing DLL.
Uninstalled oeSENC.
Rebooted.
Installed oeSENC from the Dropbox link.
Ran without a problem.
Generated fingerprint file.
Purchased UK and French Atlantic chart pack (2019).
Installed and working so far...

I'm also planning to update a Win7 64-bit machine from OCPN 4.8 to V5 which already has the same oeSENC chart pack (2018) installed. I'll let you know how that goes.

A further confirmation......

Win 7 64-bit.
Uninstalled previous OCPN version.
Left all plugins and charts.
Installed V5.
Warning about old oeSENC version.
Uninstalled oeSENC.
Installed new oeSENC from the main plugins page, not the dropbox link.
Ran without a problem.
Installed and working so far...

If you click OK all the way it will go trough, then the oeSENC charts are not available.
